- AIGA 50 (DC chapter)

AIGA 50 is a biennial juried exhibition that showcases 50 of the strongest examples of design produced in the Washington, D.C. region during the past two years. A panel of judges, experts in communication design, will evaluate work from print, narrative and interactive media.
- AIGA/XCD: Celebrating the Role of Culture in Design

The AIGA Center for Cross-Cultural Design competition was created as a venue for designers to express their experience with cross-cultural design. In 2009, an international panel of judges reviewed work submitted from around the world, selecting 3 winners and awarding 17 honorable mentions.

AIGA BlueRidge presents the Fourth Annual Flux Student Design Competition. Work designed by undergraduate and graduate students between August 2008–October 2009 is eligible, including freelance, pro bono and internship work completed by students.
